We pulled in after dark and seen the breath taking lighted venue that would be a beautiful spot for any outdoor event. The tiny cabin was fully stocked with anything you could think of. Perfect! We live 12 hours away from our Missouri family in Northern Michigan, booked 7 days at Dragonfly Meadows guest cottage for Christmas. The hosts treated us and our two birds dogs like family the whole stay! The fenced in backyard, and 40 acres to run our dogs made our stay so peaceful. We even took our Christmas Family photo on the property

The owners, Aaron and Carmen made us feel at home and like family members. The guest house was immaculate, comfortable and had a nice kitchen kitchen with all utensils.The guest house can accommodate 4 guests, and the beautiful log cabin, which is much larger, can accommodate 18. The area is remote and wooded, but easily accessible. The night is alive with the sounds of the forest. It is a wonderful place to get away and enjoy the the woods like when camping, but while retaining modern comforts. There are ponds and 40 acres that you are free to roam. The wedding venue features an open air chapel and a large, indoor meeting hall which can accommodate many people, perhaps more than 100. Stoutland is less than two miles away and any supplies you might need to stock the kitchen can be found there. There are wonderful views of the wooded hills surrounding the property, from both the guest house and the cabin.

Carmen and Aaron are truly the most amazing hosts! The property is beautiful and their home is so inviting. We stayed for a single night and they provided every thing we needed and more. We will be back for a longer visit and plan on using them for our wedding as well. We absolutely fell in love. Highly, highly, highly recommended!

The guest cottage is everything you need for a fun, relaxing getaway. It is very clean and comfortable with a full kitchen. All you need are your personal items and food. The fenced back yard was a wonderful place for our dog. The property is just beautiful. We enjoyed peaceful walks in the wilderness and a fun campfire with hotdogs. The sunsets were amazing. Aaron and Carmen were wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we had a peaceful, relaxing stay. They are fun, super people. This was our second stay with them and we are already booked for our next stay. We love it!
